My Story

Health Sense started, as so many good things do, from a very personal place. For years, I watched members of my own family struggle with symptoms that no one seemed able to explain — persistent bloating, fatigue, skin flare-ups, and a general sense that something just wasn't right.

We did the rounds of appointments, tried various approaches, and came away each time without a clear answer or lasting improvement.

I kept thinking: if someone could just point us in the right direction, we could do the rest ourselves. We just needed to know where to look.

That search led me to naturopathy and, in particular, to food intolerance testing using electro-dermal methods. The results were, honestly, transformative. In less than an hour, foods I had long suspected were causing problems were confirmed — and others I hadn't even considered came to light. Making the changes that followed didn't just ease the symptoms; it changed how we felt day to day in a way I hadn't expected to be possible.

I knew immediately that I wanted to help others achieve the same. I trained as a food intolerance and allergen tester with the College of Naturopathic Nutrition, qualifying with a Diploma in Allergy Intolerance Therapy (Dip. AIT). I then went on to qualify as a naturopath through the Centre of Excellence, gaining my Diploma in Naturopathy (Dip. Naturopath, CMA). I hold full Professional Liability Insurance and am committed to continuing professional development.

Health Sense grew from there — built on word of mouth, repeat clients, and the privilege of watching people finally get the answers they'd been looking for.

How I Work

My approach is grounded in one simple belief: that your body is doing its best to communicate with you, and that symptoms are signals worth listening to rather than suppressing.

I take the time — real time — to understand your full health picture. That means your history, your diet, your lifestyle, your stress levels, and your goals. Not just the symptom you came in with.

I use bio-energetic testing alongside naturopathic consultation to build a clear, detailed picture of what's happening and why.

From that, we create a practical plan that's tailored to you — not a generic protocol, but something that actually fits your life.

I believe in being honest, clear, and realistic. I won't promise overnight miracles. What I will offer is genuine insight, practical guidance, and support for as long as you need it.

Who I Help

Over the years, I've worked with clients dealing with a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Persistent bloating, IBS, and digestive discomfort

  • Unexplained fatigue and low energy

  • Skin conditions including eczema, acne, and psoriasis

  • Food intolerances and sensitivities

  • Hormonal health including PMS and menopause support

  • Weight management and metabolic health

  • Stress, anxiety, and general low mood

  • Children's digestive and skin health

Clients come from Norton, Bury St Edmunds, Stowmarket, Ipswich, and across Suffolk — and I also offer online consultations to clients throughout the UK.

A Note on My Values

I set up Health Sense because I wanted to offer the kind of care I'd been looking for myself — thorough, personal, and genuinely focused on getting to the root of the problem. Every client who comes through the door gets my full attention and a genuine commitment to helping them feel better.

I'm proud that Health Sense has grown almost entirely through recommendations and repeat clients. It tells me that the approach is working — and it means more to me than any number of awards.

I look forward to meeting you.
